If it reads “safe but polished,” that is success. Real Dark included (toggle top-right).
White cards on a cool gray field, separation carried by soft shadows over 1px hairlines — never outlines. One safety signal per card, orange saved for the moments that act. The character is professional restraint, applied evenly.
Selected nav = slate tint + weight (14.74:1) — deliberately not orange; the punch is reserved. Avatars are slate DM. Corners even everywhere — the character is in the restraint, not the geometry.
Cool neutral field #f6f7f9, pure-white cards, slate text. The fill law, recomputed for this palette: orange still can’t carry white (~2.3:1) — it carries slate ink #15191f at a computed 7.48:1; orange-as-text is --primary-strong (5.18 on card). Every fill carries ink (destructive excepted, principled, 5.05 white), every strong-on-tint pair computed in both themes. Brand #ee942b untouched.
Pills are tint chips — ink label, hue only in the glyph. No sticker ring, no tilt.
